God saved His people who were in bondage to the enemy and purposed to take them on a Way leading to a Destination. The journey into the destination and beyond was already charted and planned before the call of Abraham; it was the divine destiny that this nation of people had to STRIVE to pursue.
Individually, we as Christian also must STRIVE to pursue the purposes of the Lord God, which is a Matter of Choice, if not, we loose out on the goodness of God.
Unto us in this generation, that example or the path our forefathers traveled, is exactly the same, they faced a lot of difficulties because of the desires and the mind of the flesh, and the lack of UNDERSTANDING, but with more Understanding and Empowerment in the words of our Savior on the cross, in John 19:30, “IT IS FINISHED,” we are better positioned to travel the WAY of God, in our destiny to the destination, the destination overall being the REST OF GOD, no longer you doing it your own way, but finding out how God WILL want you to do it and SRTIVING to do it that WAY.
On the WAY of God, it is necessary to have an understanding of the following: these are some of what our fathers struggled with on the WAY. (1 Corinthians 14:20 ERV (20) “Brothers and sisters, don't think like children. In evil things be like babies, but in your thinking you should be like full-grown adults.)
1. Transformation & Renewal
You have to understand that since you have decided to Hear and Know the Will of God, and begun to travel the way the Lord has constructed for you to go on it is no longer the wild geese chase but a way that requires you to no longer conform to the standards of the world. With a renewal of your thoughts and a total transformation it is easy to live the pleasing perfect will, pleasing both to you and God.
Romans 12:2 GW, “Don't become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants-what is good, pleasing, and perfect.”
2. Call for the Passover
It is prudent to move A LOT more closer to the Lord God, by calling on the Lord to Passover you and everything that concerns you, looking at the benefits our fathers and all others experienced from a Passover covenant with the Lord.
On the night of the Passover God dealt a devastating blow to the enemy, without which the enemy was not going to let the people of God go in freedom to serve their God and follow His plans for them.
That lion is still roaring about harassing and bothering the people of God, the lion knows one thing that is lacking, which is the Passover treaty.
