On the WAY of God, it is necessary to have an understanding of the following: these are some of what our fathers struggled with on the WAY. (1 Corinthians 14:20 ERV (20) “Brothers and sisters, don't think like children. In evil things be like babies, but in your thinking you should be like full-grown adults.) ............................................
1.The event of the exodus is comparable to the process of salvation today and beyond tomorrow.
The people in bondage heard and accepted the news of salvation, the good news from God through Moses and Aaron, they believed, they observed the Passover to enter into a covenant that will deliver a crushing blow to their hardened captors, thereby free to walk the way of God, to walk with God and live their God given destiny…..,
Exodus 3:8 CEV “and I have come down to rescue them from the Egyptians. I will bring my people out of Egypt into a country where there is good land, rich with milk and honey. I will give them the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”
2. The Israelites were an example so their call to the Lord came before salvation but to us now, the call unto the Lord after salvation for his will and way to be revealed to us is not out of place.
Exodus 2:22-23 BBE And she gave birth to a son, to whom he gave the name Gershom: for he said, I have been living in a strange land. (23) Now after a long time the king of Egypt came to his end: and the children of Israel were crying in their grief under the weight of their work, and their cry for help came to the ears of God.
The call or cry unto the Lord made God to save them from bondage, and offer them salvation so that they would live the destiny He has prepared for them.
After salvation what we should consider immediately is to know the will and the way of God for us, which will stop many from going round in circles like the Israelites who simply refused to go the way of God because of the flesh.
3. Striving to Call on the Lord To Hear the Will and the Way, Positions us to live our God Given Destiny.
The mind of God is that all who accept salvation should live in the will and follow in the Way of God, available for a single person and millions of people at the same time, through the God who is able to save one and many at the same time.
God will will answer All who call because He has a plan already laid out for you that He is waiting for you to ask of, Jeremiah 33:3
1 Chronicles 4:10 ASV And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it be not to my sorrow! And God granted him that which he requested.
4.The Destiny of Men is written in a book and is always before God until death.
Psalms 139:16-17 CEV “but with your own eyes you saw my body being formed. Even before I was born, you had written in your book everything I would do. (17) Your thoughts are far beyond my understanding, much more than I could ever imagine.”
Isaiah 49:15-16 “Can a woman forget her nursing child? Will she have no compassion on the child from her womb? Although mothers may forget, I will not forget you. (16) I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Your walls are always in my presence.”
5.You Need To Protect What God Speaks To You.
When the devil met Eve, he already had knowledge of what God had said to them, do not forget his mission to steal, kill and destroy what, the destiny of men, exactly as he did to the first couple.
All that God will speak to you about your destiny, His Will for you and the Way to accomplish it must be kept to yourself, because when the Will and the Way is still not revealed, it remains a secret
Psalms 39:1 CEV “ (A psalm by David for Jeduthun, the music leader.) I told myself, "I'll be careful not to sin by what I say, and I'll muzzle my mouth when evil people are near."
Genesis 37:11 ASV “And his brethren envied him; but his father kept the saying in mind.”
Acts 13:10 BBE “O you, who are full of false tricks and evil ways, a son of the Evil One, hating all righteousness, will you for ever be turning people from the right ways of the Lord?
6. Destiny is for all ages.
God called Abraham at the age of seventy-five to prove that He usher His creations into their destiny, into His Will and Way at any age. He began to use Samuel at an early age. Revealed the destiny of Joseph well before his teenage years.
Parents must fervently intercede for their children more so that they would become the Godly children that God so much desire to have also walking in His Will and Way.
Proverbs 22:6 ASV “Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
